Nigerian Flair

My husband grew up in Nigeria until he was 11 years old. Over the years, he has often reminisced about the flavours of his childhood. So, for his birthday last year, I hunted down some Nigerian recipes and prepared a feast of Moi Moi, Fried Plantains and Goat Stew.




Well, it’s that time of year again, and I thought perhaps I should add to my that one-time meal! Found this great website that does a great job of summarizing the food of each country.

Food is obviously much more complex than a few recipes, but I think it does a great starter job! Now to find recipes eaten by the Edo tribe, local to where he grew up….

Oh..just came across another new website.. woo hoo! by a Nigerian chef no less. 🙂
